As Christians, we live our lives in relationship with God. In communion with other Christians in the Church we seek to constantly deepen that relationship. And we aim to follow the way that Jesus Christ taught: Loving God above all else, and loving our neighbours as ourselves. Aware of continually falling short of this ideal, we rejoice in the promise of God's gracious forgiveness in Christ.

For Christians, God is known as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

God the Father, creator and sustainer of the world, for whom every human being is a beloved child.

God the Son, Jesus Christ, whose earthly life, death and resurrection hold the key to knowing and loving God and to making sense of life, before and after death. "Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God." (Colossians 1.15)

God the Holy Spirit, who is active in the world and in people's hearts today, inspiring faith, teaching truth and kindling love - transforming lives.
