Bottom Plaque, above entrance
Mrs Mary Mountford gave the Rent of a Close of Land in this Parish called Newmans or Woodlands Close containing two Acres and half for keeping her Vault Tomb with the Inscription thereon Iron railing and Shoot in repair for ever and the surplus to be distributed in Bread to th Poor of Haselbury by the Minister and Churchwardens annually on St Thomas Day.

Aged 52 Years.
Also of Joan Hoskins his Wife who died May 21 1776 Aged 62 Years.
Also of Thomas Hoskins Esq. who died December 23, 1803 Aged 58 Years.

OF THIS PARISH, WHO DIED 1st DECEMBER 1834, AGED 75 YEARS - ALSO THEIR CHILDREN ELIZABETH, WHO DIED 12th MAY 1794, AGED 6 - WILLIAM DRAPER, AN INFANT - SAMUEL, WHO DIED 28th SEPT 1812, AGED 19 YEARS - MARTHA, WIFE OF THE REVD JAMES HOOPER OF YEOVIL, WHERE SHE WAS INTERRED WHO DIED 27 MARCH 1827, AGED 33 YEARS. - MARY ANNE, WHO DIED 6th FEBRUARY 1829, AGED 32 YEARS - ALSO TO THE ABOVE NAMED THOMAS BEST ESQ., WHO DIED AT BATH NOV 16th 1843, AGED 82 YEARS.
THIS TABLET IS ERECTED BY AN AFFECTIONATE SON AND BROTHER

Upper Monument (above Mary Mountford)
THIS CHURCH WAS REBUILT AND ENLARGED IN THE YEAR 1838, BY WHICH MEANS 192 ADDITIONAL SITTINGS WERE OBTAINED; AND IN CONSEQUENCE OF A GRANT OF £100, FROM THE INCORPORATED SOCIETY FOR PROMOTING THE ENLARGEMENT, BUILDING AND REPAIRING OF CHURCHES AND CHAPELS, AND A GRANT OF £160 FROM THE BATH AND WELLS DIOCESAN CHURCH BUILDING ASSOCIATION. THE WHOLE NUMBER OF 192 SITTINGS ARE HEREBY DECLARED TO BE FREE AND UNAPPROPRIATED FOR EVER IN ADDITION TO 302 SITTINGS FORMERLY PROVIDED, 206 OF WHICH WERE FREE.
